The Maryanne Martin Virtual Hospital was developed with the University of Notre Dame's Broome campus to assist in their delivery of the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing.
Initially developed to cover anatomy and physiology content, the resource was so successful that currently 22 units of competency for the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing are delivered through the hospital via the University's Blackboard LMS.
The units of competencies covered include first aid, workplace health and safety, cultural awareness and diversity, medication administration, nursing plans and infection control.
