An ePortfolio may have one of two purposes, or serve both;

1.  To record and track a person's achievements, qualifications and activities throughout their education and career that can be carried across electronically from institution to institution.

2.  To provide a gallery or showcase of achievements for display to a public or private audience for career or artistic purposes.

We use Mahara as our ePortfolio tool of choice.
