eLearn Australia has now completed Stages 1 and 2 of the online Diploma course for trainee Health care workers across the Kimberley. The development project was commenced in February 2010 with a collaborative team of UND lecturers and eLearn Australia educational designers and developers.  Twelve units of competency from the Health Services training package have now been incorporated into a highly interactive and engaging virtual hospital.

The Maryanne Martin Hospital was christened by the students in honour of one of the heroines of nursing in the Kimberley.
